It is not possible to post pictures that are on your computer. You will need to upload them to the Internet first. You can upload your pictures to your personal Web space that your ISP provides or to one of the picture hosting Websites listed below:If you know any other good sites, please let us know and we'll add them here.

Type or cut and paste the URL (Web address) of the picture that you would like displayed in your post. This can be done by right-clicking on the picture and going to Properties. You can copy the complete URL there.

Here is an example picture URL: http://www.rvsnmore.com/picture.jpg

After the URL is pasted in your topic, highlight the URL with your mouse and click the picture icon . This will insert image tags around the URL causing the image to display in your topic.

Example:

Important: Please do not use image tags on images larger than 640 pixels wide, as this throws off the formatting of our Website.

For images larger than 640 pixels wide, you can either use just a link to the image or create a linked thumbnail image, as follows:
  • On imageshack use ".th" at the end of the image file name (filename.th.jpg).
  • On photobucket use "th_" before the image file name (th_filename.jpg).
  • On webshots use "_th" after the image file name (filename_th.jpg).
  • On putfile use "-thumb" after the image file name (filename-thumb.jpg).
  • On picturetrail use "t-" before the image file name (t-filename.jpg).
  • On zoomshare replace "image.jpg" with "thumb.jpg" at the end of the image URL.
  • imagestation?
Please don't hesitate to let us know if you need help or have any questions.
